Welcome to the philanthropy page for the Theta Tau chapter of Alpha Delta Pi at the University of Pennsylvania! Our chapter is extremely dedicated to service and we love working with our philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House Charities. We are lucky enough to have the first Ronald McDonald House ever established within walking distance, right at 3925 Chestnut Street.
In addition to volunteering at the House and collecting pop tabs, we also hold annual philanthropy events in order to raise money for the cause. This fall, we held our third annual Pie-A-President event, where campus leaders were pied in the face to support RMHC and the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation. This year, with the help of over 80 campus leaders, we were able to raise over $2100 from this event!
We have also teamed up with other campus and community organizations in order to fundraise for various causes. Last spring, we had the opportunity to work with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Homeless Health Initiative. We had so much fun participating in the Zumbathon and we were able to raise money for a great cause! In addition, we have co-hosted bake sales throughout the year with campus fraternities where our sisters can put their baking skills to the test.
